Greve in Chianti is an Italian town of 13,954 inhabitants in the province of Florence inTuscany, located on the Via Chiantigiana, which connects Florence to Siena, passingthrough the beautiful landscape of Chianti.

Strada in Chianti
Strada is a large village located on the via Chiantigiana. It is about 10 km from the capital and is located about 300.mt high. In the town the most interesting monument is the church of St. Christopher. Over the past have experienced a significant increase in urban planning.

Montefioralle
It is a castle, formerly known as Monteficalle. The village, a short drive from Greve, isalmost circular in shape. There is the church dedicated to St. Stephen, which houses a Madonna with Child by the Florentine school dating from the late thirteenth century.Altar painting depicting the Holy Trinity and fifteenth-century work attributed to the Master of the Epiphany. In the town a house that is said to be owned by the Florentineexplorer Amerigo Vespucci. Retains its walls, though in part incorporated in more recent buildings, and roads completely paved. Near Montefioralle we note the Pievedi San Cresci still retains the structure and the Romanesque facade consists of anarthex flanked by two light windows.

Verrazzano
The Castle of Verrazzano is located about 2 km from Greve on a hill at 348 meters. Itbelonged to the family of the famous Giovanni da Verrazzano. Born perhaps as waryof the Lombard period, in the thirteenth century became a so-called house of a gentleman, and then become a classic in the seventeenth century villa with a Tuscan farmhouse. Two hundred of the castle is a tower. All around the villa is anotevolegiardino Italian.
